It’s National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week and we are excited to recognize the dedicated and hard-working dispatchers who serve Garvin County!
Our Garvin County 911 Dispatchers are proud to support, work with, protect, and dispatch for various agencies including law enforcement departments for Elmore City, Maysville, Paoli, Pauls Valley, Stratford, Wynnewood, and the Garvin County Sheriff’s Office, EMS services for Elmore City, Pauls Valley, and Wadley’s in Stratford and Wynnewood, fire departments for Elmore City, Hennepin, Katie, Maysville, Paoli, Pauls Valley, Pernell, Rush Creek, Stratford, Walker, and Wynnewood.
Dispatchers may not respond to the scene, fight fires, or settle domestic disputes, but they are on the front lines taking the initial emergency call, informing those in the field of the emergency, sending first responders, and helping callers through critical situations. They are professional, dedicated, hard-working, caring, and compassionate individuals who offer a calm voice during your emergency.
Thank you to all of our 911 dispatchers: Amanda, Jessica, Kirk, Kathi, Buffy, Kenny T., Ashley, Payton, Vonda, Shana, Hannah, Kenneth M., and Elizabeth. You are the unseen hero in the life of someone you have helped, saved, or comforted during an emergency situation. Your dedication, sacrifices, heart, and teamwork do not go unnoticed! We are thankful for you all!
