🚧 TRAFFIC ADVISORY – MANTUA AVENUE ROAD CLOSURE

The Paulsboro Police Department would like to advise residents and motorists that Mantua Avenue between 2nd Street and 3rd Street will be closed daily from Monday, August 3, through Friday, August 7, 2026, between 7:00 a.m. and approximately 5:00 p.m.

The closure is necessary to allow the Paulsboro Fire Department, in partnership with the Paulsboro Refining Company, to safely conduct its annual hose and ladder testing.

Please avoid the area during these hours and plan alternate routes whenever possible.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as this important annual safety testing is completed. Thank you for helping keep our community safe!

Yesterday was an amazing day on the river at the newly renovated Fort Billings Park to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the first federal land purchase right here in the Borough of Paulsboro. Thank you to our elected officials at all levels who came to support and a special thanks to the Paulsboro Revolution 250 Committee for all of their hard work and efforts in putting the event together that celebrates the rich history of our town and its place during the revolutionary war.
