PHS Highlight: Art 3 students were tasked with illustrating the Battle at Fort Billings (1777) for the 250th celebration of the first US land purchase this summer. The paintings show British and American ships, the Delaware, and smoke and chaos- just as scenes would show when Washington visited and commanded the retreat to Fort Mifflin and destruction of our fort before the British invaded.
