We're beyond excited to see all of our Elementary families tonight at Hot Diggity Dog! The PTO is hosting a BOGO book fair, because who doesn't love free books? Mrs. Nielsen has worked hard to make sure every single student at Later Elementary has their art on display. The Paw Paw High School Baseball and Cheer Teams are even joining in on the fun! Bring a blanket for a family picnic or grab a seat at one of our tables. We'll have tables set up for Early Childhood, Rocket Football and Cheer, Boy Scouts, and the Paw Paw Public Library, so be sure to check them out!

The last PPPS Senior Citizens Lunch of the 2025-26 school year is Friday, May 8 at 1:30 p.m. at Paw Paw High School. Our amazing food service team has planned a menu you will love! All Paw Paw area senior citizens are invited to join us . To offset rising food costs, a $6 donation is suggested, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. We hope to see you there!

We are excited to celebrate our amazing staff next week! Join us as we recognize the dedication, passion, and care they bring to our students each and every day.

We encourage students and families to take part by sending in notes of appreciation, small tokens of gratitude, or simply sharing kind words to brighten a teacher’s day.

This week at the Later Elementary we celebrated our paraprofessional staff! These ladies are truly the heart of our school, putting in countless hours making sure our building runs smoothly—supporting in classrooms, helping at lunch and recess, and stepping in for interventions wherever they’re needed. What stands out most is their student-first mindset. In every situation, they show up ready to support and do whatever it takes to help our students succeed, both academically and personally. Much of their work is behind the scenes, but their impact is felt throughout our building.
Thank you for all you do for our students and school. Your efforts never go unnoticed.

If you or someone you know is 60 or older and lives in the PPPS District, we invite you to have lunch, connect with our schools and hear about all the exciting things happening! No need to RSVP - just show up. A donation of $6 per person helps offset rising food costs, but no one will be turned away due to lack of funds. Please help us spread the word!
