Paw Paw Community Education programs have served area families since the 1970s! Certified teachers and trained, experienced staff provide quality programs for teens in a safe and caring environment. The following programs are open to eligible students from Paw Paw and the surrounding area:
Aspire Academy (grades 9-12)
Students attend small classes taught by live teachers certified in that conte
nt area. Class schedules focus on the Michigan Merit Curriculum, allowing students to focus on building skills for lifelong success. Students earn a high school diploma after meeting those credit requirements. Smaller class sizes has the added benefit of more teacher interaction during class time, quieter hallway passing time, and more instruction time. Thrive Online (grades 6-12)
Students complete classes through an online platform, and our certified teachers review student work to provide feedback. These grades automatically go on a Paw Paw Public Schools transcript. Students can email content teachers for help, as well as the online support teacher. Thrive students can schedule time to come work with the online support teacher or drop in during school hours - this is a great opportunity to complete unit tests, ask questions, and practice skills students are unsure about. Adult Education (serving ages 18 and up)
Adult Education offers GED preparation classes, as well as GED testing. Classes are self-paced: students can work from any location they need. Another option Adult Education offers is diploma completion. Classes are offered through an online platform for high school credit in our Adult Education classroom. Previous high school credits will be reviewed to determine what classes you need to take to meet the requirements for a Paw Paw Public Schools diploma. Call our Adult Education staff directly at 269-415-5782 for more information or to schedule an enrollment meeting.
