Mrs. Burger’s Chemistry classes created silver mirror ornaments this week. The silver mirror coating comes from a reaction called “Tollens’ test.” After the ornaments dry, they will be weighed and students will use that data to determine the number of silver atoms in their ornaments and the monetary value of the silver.
