RV sites and tent camping are available at Pawnee Recreational Area!

We have over 100 sites to choose from.

Payments can be made at:

Lake entrance drop box
Bathhouse 7 days a week, 12:00–6:00
City Hall, 510 Illinois
Monday–Thursday, 8:00–4:30
Friday, 8:00–12:00

A camp host also comes around in the evenings to verify and accept payments.

Rates:
Electric & Water Sites: $20 per night
Primitive Camping: $10 per night
Senior and Military Discount: $3 off per night for ages 65+

Need a trash bag? Please ask a camping neighbor if they have an extra, make a quick trip to town to grab some supplies, or stop by the Pawnee Bathhouse during operating hours (12:00 PM–6:00 PM, 7 days a week) and we’ll be happy to give you a trash bag!

Please pick up your campsite before you head home! 🏕️🗑️

Help us keep Pawnee Recreational Area clean and enjoyable for everyone by making sure your campsite is free of trash before you leave.

We have several dumpsters conveniently located around the lake for your use.

Restrooms and showers are located at the Pawnee Bathhouse on the entrance level and are available for campers, day visitors enjoying the recreational area, and swimmers.

Shop Williams Foods for all your camping needs and day trip picnicking! Just a half mile from our entrance. They have an amazing deli, too! Highly recommend their catfish and chicken! 👏
