☀️💦 LAST WEEKEND AT THE BATHHOUSE! 💦☀️

Summer sure went by fast! This is the LAST WEEKEND for the Pawnee Bathhouse to be open for the 2026 season, so come out and squeeze in one more day of swimming with us! 🏊‍♀️🌊

We have absolutely LOVED serving you this summer and seeing so many families, kiddos, visitors, and friends enjoying one of Pawnee’s favorite summertime spots. ❤️

Grab the swimsuits, towels, sunscreen and the kids and come make a few more summer memories with us!

Thank you to everyone who visited, supported the Bathhouse, and helped make this summer such a great one. We appreciate you!

☀️🌊 Oklahoma Lake Safety Reminder 🌊☀️
Nothing beats a day at the lake, but don't let the fun distract you from the heat. The combination of sunshine, water, and outdoor activities can make it easy to miss the warning signs of dehydration and heat-related illness.
💧 Stay hydrated. Don't wait until you're thirsty—drink water throughout the day and keep a refillable bottle nearby.
⛱️ Take breaks in the shade. If you're not swimming or out on the water, find a cool place to rest, especially during the hottest hours of the day.
🧢 Dress for the heat. Lightweight clothing, sunscreen, and a hat can help protect you from the sun.
🍺 Go easy on alcohol and caffeinated drinks. They can make it harder for your body to stay hydrated in the heat.
⚠️ Know the warning signs: Headache, dizziness, extreme thirst, fatigue, nausea, dark-colored urine, or confusion are all signals that it's time to cool down and rehydrate. If symptoms become severe or don't improve, seek medical attention immediately.
Whether you're boating, fishing, swimming, or relaxing on the shore, taking a few simple precautions can help keep everyone safe.

UPDATE 8:20- We will still have the show tonight! It will be a little bit of a late start around 10:00 p.m.

Please stay weather aware this evening! ⛈️🎆

The current forecast shows storms could move into our area this evening, right around the time of our scheduled fireworks display. The National Weather Service has Pawnee County under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until midnight tonight, and storms are possible during the 7:00–9:00 p.m. timeframe.

If storms roll in or are lingering during our scheduled fireworks set up time around 8:00ish p.m.we will postpone the display until tomorrow evening at dusk. We will keep you posted throughout the evening!

We would also like to remind our lake goers and campers that, in the event of severe weather, a storm shelter is available at the Pawnee Elementary Dome, 602 Forest Street. This location is just a short drive from the Pawnee Recreational Area.

Please keep an eye on the weather, have a plan, and watch our page for updates. We are hopeful the weather cooperates, but everyone’s safety comes first! ❤️💙
