The Pawnee Fire Department is dedicated to protecting life and property within the Pawnee Fire Protection District. Our district covers approximately 110 square miles and we cover South Eastern Sangamon, North Eastern Montgomery, and South Western Christian Counties. We provide basic fire suppression and basic rescue services to the district, as well as basic life support transport and intermediate life support non-transport emergency medical services.

As you’ve probably noticed the fire station is getting some much needed attention with an exterior paint project by Cinric Painting, a local based business. We want our facility to look professional and last for many many years to come.

There will be an increased police presence at the fire station this week and next as the sheriffs dept is using our training room.
