The Rhode Coalition for the Homeless is organized to promote and preserve the dignity and quality of life for men, women, and children by pursuing comprehensive and cooperative solutions to the problems of housing and homelessness and prevention of homelessness. This is accomplished through advocacy, education, collaboration, technical assistance, and selected direct services provided to individua

ls and families who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless, Coalition members, elected officials, and the community at large. Values: The Coalition believes that homelessness is unjust and unacceptable. We hereby recognize each individual and family's right to: stable, safe, and affordable housing, quality medical and mental health care, food, clothing, education and sustaining income and/or employment.
