Public Forum Invitation_Heritage Alliance of City of Pawtucket, RI - Pawtucket City Hall - Mayor's Office
The Heritage Alliance of Pawtucket will hold a public forum, hosted at the Old Slater Mill National Historic Landmark, owned and operated by the National Park Service, to share opinions about preservation-related issues in the City of Pawtucket. After the recent loss of the Read-Ott House, the impending demolition of McCoy Stadium, and the ongoing deterioration of Pawtucket City Hall, many people in the community have expressed concerns about the city’s historic resources. We want to offer an opportunity for the public to express their thoughts and ideas in a constructive and moderated format. We will also talk about how historic preservation affects the well-being of a city. We encourage you to attend and join the conversation, even if you don’t favor preservation efforts.
You may also use this form to submit your comments if you can't attend the forum or wish to be anonymous. All feedback will be shared with appropriate officials for follow-up actions.
