Pax Fire Department We are a Fire and Rescue Department with 20 members. PVFD has 2 Special ops rescue teams, one is a rope team and one for swift-water. We run mutual aid with Mt.

Hope VFD., Oakhill VFD and Bradley Prosperity VFD. Lucky 13!

Just a few dates to remember. Trunk or Treat will be Saturday the 26th from 3pm-6pm at Humphrey Park and regular Trick or Treating is October 31st from 5-7.

Forester Cody J. Mullens, 28
West Virginia Division of Forestry. Charleston, WV
Forester Mullens died after a tree fell on him while fighting a forest fire in the area of Armstrong Creek in Fayette County, near Montgomery. Mullens was part of a response unit called to fight the fire along Route 61 in Armstrong Creek. The blaze covered roughly 200 acres on a rugged mountainside and had been burning since April 11th.
