EMS & City Superintendent have been monitoring weather, public services & safety, and of course the water levels ALL night long. Please be patient as we work through town to continue storm assessment & cleanup. We've tried to clear the streets a bit and will come back through soon.
Please help if you can, bring debris to the side of the road and we'll help haul as we can. Please do not block roads & sidewalks, mind the humidity & heat index, and as always- turn around, don't drown. The Paxico Senior Citizen Center is wanting to know how much interest there would be in starting Meals on Wheels delivery in our area.

Price is $4.00 per meal for those over age 60 or handicapped,
$7.00 for those that don’t qualify.
We would also need volunteers to deliver the meals.
Meals are available 5 days a week but will be dependent on interest and volunteers. If interested contact Dan Zeller at 785-256-3594 or email: [email protected].

People of Paxico (and around) NOTICE:
Wabaunsee County Fire District 7 will be working this afternoon. They practice, test, & fill-up their trucks so they are ready & able to help others.

Please be gracious and patient if water pressure in/around the City of Paxico is low. You may even experience water cloudiness for a few days.

We fill our water tower at night from RWD2 (the good stuff) and gravity takes care of the rest. There is no shortage or line issues.
