PMLD is deeply grateful for our team of outstanding linemen who worked diligently for 24+ hours alongside our mutual aid partners of Holden Municipal Light Department, Boylston Municipal Light and West Boylston Light Department to restore power to over 250+ residents after the unexpected severe weather Paxton experienced Tuesday evening. The crews worked tirelessly to ensure services were restored as soon as possible to our residents. We sincerely appreciate the efforts of each and every linemen who worked this storm. We also appreciate the patience of our customers while crews navigated their way throughout town. THANK YOU ALL!

UPDATE- Crews are still out working. Power has been restored to approximately 250 homes with another 50 still without power. The linemen are working on Black Hill, Nanigan and South. Thank you very much your patience. This has been one of the worst storms for PMLD since the ice storm.

PSA………PMLD would like to remind everyone that you should never walk near downed power lines. This is very unsafe because of the potential invisible electrical hazards. Touching anything that could have contact with the lines such as tree branches or water could cause severe injury. If the electricity has spread out through the ground, you would need to shuffle your feet keeping both feet on the ground at all times. If your feet are at different gradient levels, electricity could potentially flow through your body causing severe injuries or worse.

UPDATE-PMLD has called in mutual aid from Holden, West Boylston and Boylston Light Departments to assist our linemen throughout town to restore power. Each team is working in a different area of town to address the numerous issues that are causing the outages. At this time, we do not have an ETA for full restoration of power.
