The Council on Aging, in partnership with CVS Pharmacy, will host its Annual Vaccination Clinic at the John Bauer Senior Center on Wednesday, September 30th from 10am-1pm and Saturday, October 3rd from 10am-1pm. CVS will administer seasonal flu shots including high dose vaccine for older adults, alongside Covid-19. The clinic is free for most insurance plans and Medicare. Please bring your photo ID and your medical insurance card. Open to all.

If you have not yet returned your vote-by-mail ballot for the State Primary, please leave it in the drop box at the Town Hall by 8pm tomorrow. Do not use the postal service at this time as we would not receive the ballot on time and it would be rejected if it is received after the deadline. Please see the link in the comments with more information regarding the upcoming Primary.

If you missed the vote by mail deadline you can still vote early at the Town Hall today or tomorrow between 10am-2pm or vote in person on Election Day, September 1st 7am-8pm at Paxton Center School.

PSA: If you have not yet returned your ballot for the Special Town Election that was held on 8/10/2026, please just throw it away. Every day we are getting returned ballots at the Town Hall and we legally have to reject each ballot which is not a good use of taxpayer dollars. Just a reminder that State Primary ballots must be received by 8pm on 9/1/2026 to be accepted.

The last day to request a vote by mail ballot for the State Primary is tomorrow, August 25th, by 5pm. Please note requests must contain your party ballot choice of Democrat or Republican if you are an unenrolled (formally known as Independent) voter.

Applications can be sumitted online or in person at the Town Clerk's Office (or in the drop box at the Town Hall) until 5pm tomorrow, August 25th.

Early Voting in person for the State Primary starts today in Paxton. 10am-2pm at the Town Hall. Just a reminder that this week, during early voting, no campaigning is allowed with 150 feet of the Town Hall.
