Emergency Services Symposium at Anna Maria College Anna Maria College's Emergency Services Symposium was held on April 18th, 2013 - but we're not done yet! We're working on making next year's even better!

There's also more in the works! AMC's first ever Emergency Services Symposium brings together Nationally renown speakers covering a wide range of topics. On the speaking list we have five great speakers:

Chief David Becker, Vice Chair of the IAFC's EMS Section & new AMC Adjunct. Registration begins at 7:30 am, with the Symposium starting at 8:30 am. It will end around 4:30. Free lunch with your registration. Cost:

The Anna Maria College Emergency Services Symposium is sad to announce the passing of RI State Police K9 Eva who came to our 2013 event with Sergeant Matthew Zarrella. Eva retired in July of 2014. She lived up to the motto of the RISP "In service to the state." We are proud to have known her and send our condolences to Sgt. Zarrella and all who knew her.

A special Throwback Thursday from the AMC Symposium. Our 2013 Incident Commander Christopher Koretski is pictured here with Rhode Island State Police Sergeant Matthew Zarrella and his K-9 partner Eva. At shift change on Friday, Sgt. Zarrella retires as the Canine Coordinator after 24 years as a member of the Rhode Island State Police. We wish him well and hope he remains in touch with us at Anna Maria College. His Partner Eva has already retired and K-9 Buster a black lab, bomb sniffing dog retires as well as #144 takes his final shift tomorrow.

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE 2014 SYMPOSIUM

A word from Christopher Koretski, Incident Commander:

Due to circumstances beyond our control, it is my duty as the Incident Commander of Anna Maria College's 2014 Emergency Services Symposium to inform you that we are forced to reschedule our annual event scheduled for April 24, 2014. Several factors beyond the control of anyone involved have lead us to this decision and though we are saddened by it, we feel it is the best way to proceed at this point. Please accept our apology if this causes any inconvenience to anyone. We look forward to hosting another symposium on our Paxton Campus in the future. Remain safe & thank you for your support.
