Yesterday’s fire started by lightning in Sandhollow was successfully extinguished! Thank you all for your hard work! 🚒🔥

Yesterday's lightning storms provided opportunity to highlight years of training, partnerships, and cooperation to the test. Multiple fires started across the area: 🔥 Middleton near El Paso and Oasis 🔥 Sand Hollow/Parma on BLM land between Elmore and I-84 🔥 New Plymouth in the Big Willow area

Crews moved where they were needed, resources were shared, and agencies worked together to keep small fires from becoming large ones. All fires were extinguished. Everyone went home. That's the value of mutual aid, strong partnerships, and dedicated firefighters.
