❤️🖤 RED RIBBON WEEK AT PAYETTE ACADEMY! 🖤❤️

🎉 October 27–29, 2026 🎉

This week, we're celebrating healthy choices, positive attitudes, and bright futures! Our students will participate in fun, meaningful activities that encourage them to live drug-free and support one another!

❤️ Tuesday, October 27 – Pledge Wall: My Future Is Too Important!

Students will write a goal, dream, or reason they choose to stay drug-free on a red paper heart or ribbon. Together, we'll create a wall filled with dreams and bright futures!

🧠 Wednesday, October 28 – Drug-Free Trivia Challenge!

During advisory, students will test their knowledge with five quick trivia questions about va**ng, alcohol, drugs, and making healthy decisions!

💌 Thursday, October 29 – Positive Vibes Challenge!

Kindness is contagious! Students will spread positivity by writing an encouraging message to a fellow student or staff member. A few kind words can make someone's day!

Dear Payette Academy, Students, Families, Staff, and Community Members,

Thursday, October 22, is our ANNUAL HOMECOMING PARADE! We are excited to celebrate Homecoming alongside Payette High School and show off our Pirate Pride!
Payette Academy students will participate in the parade by riding on decorated class floats through downtown Payette, accompanied by staff chaperones.
Due to the Homecoming festivities, Payette Academy will follow an adjusted bell schedule for the day.

THE DAY AT A GLANCE
Morning: Students will attend their regularly scheduled morning classes with some adjustments.
10:15 AM–12:00 PM: Juniors and seniors will be released to decorate their class floats. Freshmen and sophomores will remain in their scheduled classes and advisory.
12:10–12:40 PM: Lunch for all students. There will be NO extended lunch or off-campus lunch privileges on Thursday.
12:40 PM: Students will load their assigned class trailers and travel to Payette High School to prepare for the parade.
1:18–2:18 PM: HOMECOMING PARADE through downtown Payette!
2:20 PM: Students will return to Payette Academy and report directly to their 4th-period classes.
3:45 PM: Regular dismissal.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
Students must follow staff directions and remain with their assigned class and chaperones throughout the parade.
All students will eat lunch on campus. There will be no extended lunch or off-campus lunch privileges.
Students should dress appropriately for the weather, as they will be outside during float decorating and the parade.
Thursday is SPIRIT DAY! Wear your RED, BLACK, AND WHITE to show your Pirate Pride!
We encourage our families and community members to come downtown, cheer on our students, and celebrate Homecoming with us!

📢 PSAT TESTING REMINDER! 📝

Parents and Guardians,

Please be aware that Payette Academy sophomores will be taking the PSAT on Tuesday, October 13, 2026.

Testing will begin at 9:15 AM and last approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Students will remain in their assigned testing rooms until the testing time has elapsed.

✅ Please encourage your student to:

* Get a good night’s sleep on Monday.
* Eat a healthy breakfast before school. 🥞
* Arrive at school on time and be ready to do their best!

Payette Academy is getting ready for our Potato Feed & Silent Auction on November 5, 2026, and we are looking for donations from our amazing community! ❤️

We are currently seeking items, gift certificates, services, gift baskets, or other donations for our silent auction, as well as donations to help support our potato feed.

🎓 Where do the proceeds go?
All proceeds directly support our Payette Academy students throughout the school year, including:

📚 Classroom supplies
✏️ Educational needs and student resources
🎓 Graduation supplies and expenses
❤️ Other needs that help our students be successful

Every donation—big or small—helps us provide opportunities and resources for our students that might not otherwise be possible.
