Carol Wannemacher is a long time cosmetologist who started her business in February of 2008. Like any new business, it started out slow but has grown to become a staple at 105 N Main St. Payne. Initially offering hair and nail services, she soon saw the need for a tanning salon and now offers that service.

Press Release from Paulding Putnam:

Did you know cyberbullying is a serious problem among high school, middle school, and even elementary-aged students? Paulding Putnam is investing in local kids' online safety this fall, rolling out Bark — a free parental control and monitoring platform — with its ParentProtect internet package starting September 9. The tool helps parents monitor text messages and 30+ apps and sites for cyberbullying, sexual content/predators, drugs, self-harm risk, violence, and other online risks. Parents can also manage screen time, filter content, and track their kid’s location.

New sign-ups for the ParentProtect plan will get $75 off their first month & be entered to win a prize bundle — a back-to-school gift from the co-op!

A Big THANK YOU to Jim and Vicki Ho**er for being a Silver Sponsor for our 2026 Rock the Block Event! Jim is the proud owner of Ho**er Enterprises Painting and through his business he has helped with many community improvement projects.

Jim was our 🌟 2019 "Rock Star" 🌟recipient for all his contributions to our community over the years. Those contributions continue to this day.
