Update: This class is now full!

Scott Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting an EMT-Basic class beginning mid-September. Classes will be two days per week during the evening hours. If you are interested in becoming or have any questions about becoming an EMT for the Village of Payne and Payne Fire & EMS, please contact us by messaging us here on Facebook, call us at 419-263-2514 ext 9 or email us at [email protected].

To become an EMT you must be 18 years old, have a HS diploma or GED, possess a valid drivers license and have no criminal convictions that would prevent you from obtaining your Ohio EMS certification.

We invite members of the community to use our parking lot Saturday as Big Boy 4014 drives through. Please use the parking lot for cars and you are welcome to put up chairs in the side yard. The building will not be open. All we ask in return is that you are kind and respectful to each other and the property!

Monday evening firefighters took the opportunity to train at the Paulding County Training Facility. They trained on pump operations, hose advancement/movement, and nozzle patterns. Always training to be ready when needed.
