The library is offering one-on-one Tech Time appointments! Staff can help with questions such as: how to use the digital libraries, finding research resources, and basic technology learning like setting up an email or navigating devices. Bring your own device or use the public library computers.

Appointments are a half hour and vary by day. Please call to schedule: 320.243.7343.

*Note: staff cannot help with fixing devices, typing up documents, or filling in legal forms like taxes or banking.

Here they are, the MANHATTAN SHORT 2026 Global Film Festival winners! Did your pick win?

The short films finalists were excellent and we heard multiple requests to show again next year for the 30th film festival. Thank you to all who attended the screenings and voted. Special thanks to Paynesville Area Schools & Paynesville Area Community Education & PACC for hosting!

The Nintendo Switch is here! Bring a friend - or play solo - and game on. Stop at the checkout desk to sign out controllers and a game.

Players may bring their own Switch games to play with a group using our additional controllers. NOTE: Games brought in must be appropriate for all ages. (We are a public space! 🙂)

On 9/25, we honor Dolly Parton and her legacy of literacy. Many families donate their Imagination Library books to us to be re-gifted to another child, and we have a lot to share! Any child who stops into the Paynesville Library on 9/25 may choose a new (to them) Imagination Library book to take home and keep.
