Friends of Rim Country Aquatics is a local group dedicated to meeting the need for a pool for swimming lessons, swim team, water aerobics, water therapy, lifeguard training and recreation.

Coming off a successful 23 season with several new school records and our first ever state qualifier Payson Swim is looking forward to a great 2024 season.
This year also marks the first year ever for Middle School Swim!

Town of Payson Capital Improvement Program Survey For Fiscal Year 2023-2024

As the Town prepares the budget for the upcoming Fiscal Year 2023-2024 (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024), we would like to provide our citizens with the opportunity to offer input on what capital improvements or additions they would like to see within the Town.

The Town’s main source of revenue is the local sales tax which is currently at 2.88%. The Town’s first priority is covering our day-to-day operations (personnel, supplies, services and maintenance). Once these critical needs are funded, the Town will look at remaining resources or other potential financing options to add or improve facilities and equipment.
Please take a moment to provide feedback on the capital improvements you would like to see within the Town’s limits. This survey will close at midnight on Tuesday, January 24, 2023

We have had a busy summer providing swim lessons at Chaparral Pines pool! It has been a joy for Lori, Tina, Lynn and I (Emme) to teach your kids water safety and swimming skills. Thank you to Chaparral for allowing community members to take swim lessons there, to Lori Thompson without you there would be no swim program, thank you to MHA for helping off set the guest fees, and to the Town of Payson for providing partial refund vouchers making swim lessons more affordable. We wish every child in Payson knew how to swim, that is our dream! But for the ones we were able to serve this summer, it has been so rewarding! Thank you to the parents for entrusting your kids to us ❤️ Swim lessons are still available if you are interested go to friendsofrimcountryaquatics.com
