As I finish my term on the Peabody City Council I would like to thank my family and friends for all your support during these past 8 years. In addition I would like to thank the voters of Ward 5 who put their faith and trust in me as well. We got roads paved, streets plowed, lights fixed, sidewalks repaired and more. Those were the physical and tangible results of our work. Many other conversations took place regarding many other issues. I always tried to be open, honest, and transparent in those discussions, even if it may not have been the answer you were looking for. I am very proud of my constituent services. I wish you all a HEALTHY and happy new year. I will close with one of my all time favorite quotes

So we did not get the results we were hoping for tonight but I am proud of the work we have done the past 8 years. Thank you to my wife Carole, my two sons Justin & Ryan, my supporters, & the residents of Peabody. It has truly been an honor & while we may be out in a few short weeks, I can tell you I am not down!! Good luck to the entire council in 2022 . Wishing health & happiness for everyone!!

Saslaw said he’s received strong support from constituents and he is working hard to bring businesses to the city to “keep our taxes low” and improve residents’ quality of life.

Thank you Ward 5 supporters, we made it past the preliminary and on to the general election!!!

I am honored that the voters of Ward 5 have confidence in the work I have done over the last 8 years and I look forward to working just as hard throughout this campaign and beyond to continue to fight to protect their quality of life and be their voice in matters that affect them. I commend both candidates for conducting issues oriented campaigns grounded in civility. I plan to reach out to more constituents over the next several weeks, listen to their concerns and hope to earn their vote in November.
I would like to say that I was very impressed by candidate Mattie Molk's energy, confidence and his eagerness to serve others.
