On Thursday, October 15, 2026, at approximately 5:29 p.m., Peabody Police Department patrol units stopped a white Dodge Challenger on Newbury Street after observing the vehicle operating with an expired inspection sticker.
During the traffic stop, officers observed several vacuum-sealed packages containing THC-infused gummies in plain view inside the vehicle. Further investigation and a search of the vehicle resulted in the discovery of a substantial quantity of THC products, along with materials associated with the packaging, preparation, and distribution of controlled substances.
Michael Perrine, 36, of Gloucester, MA, was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of a Class C controlled substance with intent to distribute, subsequent offense, in violation of M.G.L. Chapter 94C, Section 32B.
Items seized during the investigation totaled $20,000.00.
• 196 packages of suspected THC-infused gummies, weighing approximately 24.5 pounds
• 200 THC v**e units labeled "Ace Ultra-Premium"
• 100 THC concentrate cartridges labeled "Live Candy"
• 7 packages of THC v**e products labeled "Pack Man"

Does anyone know this boy? He took an adventure and was found on Bartholomew St. by Starbard Terr. He is missing the Patriot's game and would like to go home to watch it. SIX-MONTH INVESTIGATION LEADS TO SECOND SEARCH WARRANT AND ARREST
AT 105 GOODALE STREET
After a six-month investigation, the Peabody Police Department applied for and was granted a search warrant for 105 Goodale Street from the Peabody District Court. Officers executed the warrant today and arrested Duarte Silva on multiple criminal charges.
This is the second search warrant the Peabody Police Department has executed at 105 Goodale Street involving Silva.
On June 13, 2024, Peabody Police executed a previous search warrant at the same address. As a result of that investigation, Silva was arrested and charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class D Substance, and Animal Cruelty, to which he pleaded guilty to those charges.
After six months of continued investigative work, Peabody Police detectives gathered new evidence that led to a search warrant for the residence. The Peabody District Court granted the warrant, and detectives executed it today.
As a result of today’s search warrant ex*****on, Duarte Silva was arrested and charged with:
1. Animal Cruelty
2. Child Endangerment
3. Possession of Am******on Without an FID Card
4. Trafficking Co***ne, 200 Grams or More

Chief Griffin extends his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Detective Division, Patrol Division, K9 Division, and Drone Division, as well as our law enforcement partners from the Middleton Police Department, Lynn Police Department, Salem Police Department, Danvers Police Department, Massachusetts State Police K9 Unit, and the Animal Rescue League of Boston Police.

Silva is expected to be arraigned in Peabody District Court.
