Thank you to Colin Murphy Photos for this photo of the Peabody Police Officers who stayed in DC to participate in the entirety of National Police Week including last night's Candlelight Vigil to pay special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.

The wake for Trooper Kevin Trainor will be held tomorrow May 12, 2026 at Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home & Cremation Care at 82 Lynn St in Peabody, MA. To ensure public safety and support the large number of attendees, some parking protocols will be in place including:

1. Noon-7pm Lynn St from Washington St to County St will be closed to all traffic.
2. Police details will be onsite to assist with detours.
3. No parking will be allowed on either side of the following streets from 11:00am to 7:00pm - Lynn St from Washington to County St, Rainbow Road, Rainbow Circle, Pumping Station Road, Cedar Grove Ave, Carlton St, Brown St, Margaret Rd, & Tucker's Court. These streets will be used for staging and other essential public safety operations.
4. South Peabody Branch Library will close at noon tomorrow for the remainder of the day.

We appreciate your cooperation as our community comes together to honor the life and service of Trooper Trainor and to respect our brothers and sisters at the Massachusetts State Police.
