Please join us in congratulating our newest Firefighter 1 certified members!

Firefighter 1 consists of over 225 hours of both classroom book work and outside hands on training that covers everything from first aid training, fire ground support, hazmat skills to full on exterior/interior firefighting skills, and everything in between to make them skilled, safe, knowledgable, and well trained firefighters.

Two of the eight firefighters (Chris Derr and Aaron Sensenig) started their training at Lancaster County Career and Technology Center through the Solanco School District back at the beginning of the 2025 school year, while the other six firefighters Levi Beiler, Amos S king, Mark Stauffer, Amos E Stoltzfus, Amos K Stoltzfus, and Nathan Tucker started their training back in mid December through the Lancaster County Public Safety Training Center. All eight just completed their finals this past week.

Congratulations, gentlemen! May you provide many, many years of safe and productive service to your community!!
