Our sweet Ginger was ghosted… 😩😭

This poor girl is the perfect dog! She’s sweet, she’s gentle, and she’s very affectionate. Soooooo we don’t know what happened. 🥹

A little recap:
🐾 2 year old female Pyrenees/Anatolian/Retriever mix
🐶 Dog friendly, but will let them know when she’s had enough
🐱 Unknown with cats
👧 Unknown with children
🏡 Housebroken, not a huge fan of a crate

When the 🌙 hits your 👁️ like a BIG 🍕 🥧, that’s a MEATBALLLLLLLLLL 🍝

Our designer “Frenchie” 😉 is back from his sleepover due to no fault of his own, per his potential adopter. 😔
He did excellent with older couple, one of which was on a walker! However, we did find out he isn’t a big fan of loud noises and too much movement too fast.

We’ve been hiding someone from you…

Back in March, we took in a dog named Billie. 🖤

Billie was pulled from a hoarding situation, essentially where a pack of roughly 20 dogs was left to their own devices in someone’s yard. Due to minimal contact with people, Billie was VERY avoidant and was truly terrified of the world. He shut down immediately after coming to the Shelter.

A very kind and understanding family stepped up to the challenge-
Operation Save Billie was underway.
Flash forward to now! LOOK AT HIM. 🤩

Here’s what his foster Mom says about him:

“Billie came into foster care a little unsure of the world, and he’s blossomed into an affectionate, devoted companion. He adores his people, loves quiet snuggles, and has the kind of soulful eyes that melt hearts. He’s learned “kennel” and “outside” like a pro, proving he’s smart, eager to please, and ready to keep growing with the right family. At just 8 months old, he has so much life ahead of him and so much love to give.
Billie’s Best Friends? Other Dogs. 🐕

Billie absolutely lights up around other dogs. He’s playful, social, and would do beautifully in a home with another pup his size to romp around with. A doggy sibling might just be the secret ingredient to helping him feel even more confident.

What Billie Needs:
☮️ A calm, patient home. Billie can be hesitant about being touched at times and does best with gentle hands that let him come to them. Once he trusts you, he’s all in.
👧 A home with older children who give him space when he needs it.
🫂 Routine and reassurance. He loves knowing what comes next and feeling safe in his space.
🐶 A canine companion (bonus!). He’d thrive with another playful dog around his size. He does just fine with cats too!

HOW?!?! How has Pumba not been adopted yet?!? 😩

If you’re in the market for a puppy, but you don’t want the constant 💩ing/peeing everywhere and screeching in a crate ALLLLLL night- look no further!

Pumba is a 6-8 month old male Chow mix and only 40 pounds! This angle isn’t the most flattering 😅 He is much smaller than he looks.
🐶 Dog friendly; VERY playful
🐱 Cautiously curious of cats
🏡 Mostly housebroken and crate trained
🚶‍♀️ Hates a leash and likes to 🐊 roll
🤪 Sooooooo goofy, and is currently learning to play with toys 🥹

🤍Polar bear is the fluffy one. He’s neutered, loves belly rubs, very friendly, good with people and children, BUT not cats. His brother Buddy is neutered, skittish, but loves his brother and will follow his brother around. They need to go together. They are 4 years old.

🧡Butterscotch is a 4 year old pit/lab loves everybody, not neutered. A great dog and great companion. Not good with cats. He is 5 years old.

🐱Kitty and Garfield are siblings and best friends. They don’t like other cats, or dogs. Both are indoor cats. They are 4 years old.

This is a first- We have an unabashedly handsome, magical unicorn in our shelter! Linus is a roughly 2 year old neutered Golden Retriever whose personality lives up to his breed expectation!

🏡 Housebroken and crate trained
🚶‍♀️Good leash manners
💉Up to date on vaccines
🚗 LOVES car rides, especially riding shotgun

❗️We’re told he may have some food aggression issues, SO HE MUST BE FED SEPARATELY FROM OTHER DOGS!!!

What Goes Up, Must Come Meowww-n! 🌳 🐱

Animal Control was dispatched to a call where a cat had been stuck in a tree for ten days.

After attempts to locate a bucket truck and hours of befriending the freaked out feline, Josh and Dakota from Howell’s Lawn Service offered to lend a hand.

Additional ⭐️ GOLD STARS ⭐️ to Dakota for fearlessly climbing the tree, wrangling him, and rigging up an effective way to get him to the ground.

🌼 The Wild Child AKA Mr. Happy has been safely delivered back home and his owners were eternally grateful. Another job well done by our ACO’s and community members. ❤️

We've had this little dude for almost 2 months!!! Everyone is always looking for small dogs and we finally have one who has had zero interest!!!

He is 5 years old and 10 pounds of bounciness

🐱 lived with cats
🚶 kind of confused about leashes
🔥 he can be a little spicy 🌶️ and required a muzzle for the grooming. 🥲

Maggie has been adopted!! 🥳🥳🥳

Meet Maggie Mae (and her new bestie Noah) 🩷💜

Maggie is a 2.5 year old spayed female Australian Shepherd- tail included. 😍
🐶 Submissive with other dogs, even yorkies!
🐱 Will try to herd cats 🤣
👶 Loved playing with and following a 7 year old boy on his four wheeler 🥹
🏡 Will let you know when she needs to go out
😇 Never needed to be kept in a kennel- no getting into trash, no chewing on shoes or furniture!
🐿️ Will chase small critters!
🥾 Is used to hiking anywhere from 2-5 miles at a time!
💉 She is up to date on vaccines and is on flea/tick prevention.

It's been awhile since we've had kittens delivered to us in a box.. 😅Meet Scooby(Front)🐶and Punkin(Back)🎃!

These handsome, furry babies were surrendered because a little human baby was born. Scoobs is 6 months old and Punk is 8 months old! They are VERY affectionate and sweet lover boys!💙

Although we are currently shut down for intakes, we were able to get these brothers into a foster home, which means they are now available for adoption! Their adoption fees are $20 each, or $30 for both of them- REMEMBER, cats are always better in pairs! 😻😺
