They’re looking for homes now! They are a little shy and need someone who will force cuddle them. 😛They can only be adopted to Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski, Bland, and Craig County residents! Their adoption fees are $20 each.

Little Debbie was discovered hiding under someone's home in the process of giving birth to her kittens 💔 This poor girl is just a baby herself at likely just a year old but she and her babies are thriving and growing in their foster home! The babies are currently 4 weeks old and not ready to leave mom but we are hoping to get some homes lined up for everyone!

Little Debbie is a social butterfly who loves to play, and follows the foster mom around when she needs a break from mom duty 🥰

It’s been a crazy time at the shelter here lately 🤪 With every kennel being occupied it’s hard to find the time to update pictures of the cats because they have been so busy enjoying their daily play time 😻

All of these youngsters are bright eyed, healthy, and patiently waiting for their new forever home to come along 🏡

They say love is blind- well Leela is more than half way there! 😂💖

Three weeks ago, a teeny tiny 7 week old kitten came to us with 1 ruptured eyeball, and 1 eyeball that was hanging on by a few membranes.

Fast forward to now and she is healing wonderfully. 😍

While she did need to have one eye removed, we were able to salvage the other and although it seems she can only see shapes and lights- that doesn’t slow her down one bit.

🐱 Leela loves to play with other cats
🐶 She isn’t afraid of dogs
🛌 It is 100% guaranteed she will sleep next to you at night
🚽 Litter box trained

She can be a little bashful with people, but only because she is still getting used to her “new normal” vision and gets spooked sometimes.

She still needs to have her stitches removed, but we are hoping to go ahead and get a home lined up. So if super cute, slightly wonky cats are your thing- reach out! 💖

We've been proven wrong AGAIN- and we love it! 🥰

Our pint sized Cinnamon has had quite the attitude lately when it comes to other dogs.. which was very confusing because she came in with another dog and they were obsessed with each other.

WELL, this past week, the young lady who initially found Cinnamon really wanted to come back and take her on a sleepover.🥹She did PHENOMENAL with their dogs! In the first picture is former Giles County Animal Shelter Alumni, Nala (middle)! We love a full circle moment!

The fosters could not say enough positive things about Cinnamon:
🧸She loves toys but she has to have the tough chewer toys cause she loves tearing the stuffies up
🤗Loves to cuddle and loves to nap on someone and she bonds so easily
🩷Definitely a woman’s dog, but she isn’t too scared of men. "She really liked my husband who is a big man and my sons who are 16, 21 and 24 she is just shy at first meeting them!"
😊Will literally stay at your feet when ur walking anywhere and she does really good on walks with and without a leash
🧠Very treat motivated and extremely smart

😹However, she is NOT a fan of cats!

Her adoption fee is $150, which covers her spay and rabies vaccine, which have already been done!

If you're looking for a loyal, very sweet and affectionate lap dog (who is a little bit bigger than your typical lap dog)- adopt Cinnamon. She's been with us over 2.5 months. 😭

🐻 Bear is the solid black boy
Super loving
Great with kids, dogs, and cats (he’s very curious and wants to play though)
Crate trained, has been in an outdoor pen, does well inside.
House trained
Usually pretty calm and loves to cuddle!
VERY clumsy though 🤣

👑 Princess, black and white female
High energy
Very goofy and unique
Great with kids, dogs, and cats (try’s to play with them as well)
Crates trained(will have accidents)
She’s been on a lead, in an outdoor pen, and indoor with and without a crate.
She normally just does her own thing and with occasionally give loves but doesn’t like cuddling
LOVES water and water hoses 🤣

Both are border collie/boxer mixes, and were born on January 22nd. 🐕

These itty bitties have had a long day! 😴

Motor Oil and Pennzoil are exhausted after all the lovin’s and attention they’ve gotten. 😍

This brother and sister duo was found under a car after their mom had been struck by a vehicle. 😢 Two more weeks and they’ll be ready for homes- and you know what they say. They’re better in pairs! 🩷🩵

Due to their age, they can only go to Giles, Pulaski, Montgomery and Craig County! If you’d be interested in adopting these extremely sweet, dog-like kitties, send us a message or give us a call at (540)921-2053. 🐈
