e provides the mandatory Reserve Component Interview to separating Soldiers. Soldiers are briefed on the benefits and incentives of Army National Guard or Army Reserve membership, as well as duties and responsibilities of Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) assignment. Some of the benefits of Reserve Component membership include: Deployment Stabilization (up to 24 months); TRICARE Medical and Dental (TAMP)/180 days; TRICARE Reserve Select (TRS); pay for attending weekend meetings; exchange privileges; commissary privileges; space available air transportation; full-time Serviceman's Group Life Insurance; and eligibility to qualify for retired pay. Additionally, Soldiers who affiliate with the Reserve Component are still eligible for 100% Federal tuition assistance.
