Shortly after 2:40 this afternoon your Pearl River EMS duty crew consisting of EMT Alex and EMT Bob were dispatched to a reported party fallen in unknown condition. Shortly after dispatch the crew as well as Rockland Paramedic Services Medic 21 was updated that officers from Orangetown PBA on scene were starting CPR. Crews arrived on scene and continued medical care of the patient, continuing CPR. The patient was transported by Pearl River EMS along with Medic 21 to a local hospital where prior to the crew leaving the hospital the patient had regained a pulse. We extend our well wishes for a speedy recovery to this patient and a job well done to all involved in this call!

❄️❄️As the upcoming snow storm approaches, Pearl River Alumni Ambulance is closely monitoring conditions alongside the Town of Orangetown. Our crews are ready and here for you.❄️❄️

During the storm, please take care of yourself and those around you:
• Stay warm and limit time outdoors
• Be cautious shoveling snow — take breaks, pace yourself, and avoid overexertion
• Keep necessary medications, food, and water easily accessible
• Check in on elderly neighbors, family members, and anyone who may need extra help
• Stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary to reduce risk and allow emergency vehicles clear access

As always, for true emergencies, call 911 immediately. Stay safe and stay warm.
