Statement from our Executive Board on the great work by all our members and our colleagues at the Ramapo PBA and Town Of Haverstraw PBA

Statment:
The Rockland County PBA is extremely proud of the professionalism, dedication, and coordinated efforts displayed by our members during President Donald Trump’s historic visit to Rockland County on May 22, 2026.
This event brought together law enforcement agencies from across Rockland County and the region. The lead agencies included the United States Secret Service, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office, the Ramapo Police Department, and the New York State Police. Coordination between Sheriff’s Falco’s office, the Police Chiefs Association of Rockland County, and the participating agencies exemplified the highest standard in law enforcement. The success of this operation was made possible through the dedication and professionalism of our members, members of the Ramapo PBA, and Haverstraw PBA. This operation demonstrated extensive planning, teamwork, and the unwavering commitment of the men and women who protect and serve Rockland County every day.
From traffic control and crowd management to security operations and emergency response preparedness, Rockland law enforcement and our partners worked seamlessly together to ensure the safety of all residents, visitors, and attendees. The level of professionalism, coordination, and dedication demonstrated the very best of policing in Rockland County.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to the United States Secret Service for their leadership and partnership throughout this event. Their coordination with local, county, state, and federal agencies was exceptional and played a critical role in ensuring the operation’s success. The close working relationship between Rockland County’s law enforcement agencies was noticed and conveyed to the PBA by the Secret Service. This once again reflects the effectiveness, professionalism, and preparedness of Rockland law enforcement.
This visit was not only historic for Rockland County, but also a powerful reminder of the strength and unity that exists within our law enforcement community. In a profession where collaboration and trust are essential, our members once again rose to the occasion with pride, professionalism, and integrity. The Rockland County PBA is honored to represent some of the finest law enforcement officers in New York State. The dedication and commitment displayed during this event serve yet another example of the work our members do every day to keep Rockland County safe.
We also recognize and thank the outside agencies, first responders, and support personnel whose hard work helped make this event safe and successful. Special appreciation is extended to the Police Chiefs Association of Rockland County, the Ramapo PBA, and the Haverstraw PBA, for the countless hours of work and resources they contributed. Their efforts did not go unnoticed and are deeply appreciated.
Lastly, we thank the Ramapo PBA Finest Foundation along with numerous local businesses who supported this event by providing food and drinks to all the law enforcement, first responders, and essential workers who worked behind the scenes to execute this historic event.

Today, our Executive Board members stood in solidarity with hundreds of fellow Police Officers and families of fallen heroes at the New York State Police Officers Memorial. 56 new names were honored with addition to the Memorial this year. This was a deeply meaningful event and a somber reminder to the selfless sacrifices our members, and all Police Officers make daily.

🚨PRESS RELEASE 26SV02167🚨

*Spring Valley Police Locate Missing Juveniles with Assistance from Federal Partners*

On February 8, 2026, the Spring Valley Police Department initiated an investigation into a missing 12-year-old juvenile female.

The juvenile's parents reported that their daughter had been missing since the early morning hours of today's date. They further advised that earlier that morning they received a phone call from a foreign phone number claiming the caller had their daughter and demanded a payment of $1,000 or the family would never see her again.

Upon receiving this information, Spring Valley Police Officers and Detectives immediately began an intensive investigation to locate the missing juvenile. Given the seriousness of the circumstances, the Spring Valley Police Department requested assistance from the FBI NY-Westchester Safe Streets Task Force.
Through coordinated efforts between local and federal law enforcement, the missing juvenile was successfully located at an address in Spring Valley.

The investigation further led to the discovery of three additional missing juveniles also at that location, from other police jurisdictions in Rockland County as well. While none of the juveniles appeared to have been harmed or held against their will at this time, the investigation into the circumstances and especially the ransom demand is ongoing.

This investigation was a sole response to a report of a potentially kidnapped juvenile and the Spring Valley Police Department would like to thank our federal partners for their swift assistance and collaboration. Most importantly, we are grateful that all juveniles involved were safely recovered.

Anyone with information that may be related to this investigation is encouraged to contact the Spring Valley Police Department at (845) 356-7400.

We would like to commend our members of the Rockland County Sheriff's Deputies Association
who, in less than a week, provided police services at two highly charged political events with the utmost professionalism and respect for all those in attendance.

While not everyone may agree with the circumstances that require law enforcement presence at public political events, or the duties they preform, our members remain committed to ensuring safety, protecting constitutional rights, and serving the community impartially.

Thank you to the Rockland County Sheriff's Office and to our members for your continued dedication and professionalism. Keep up the outstanding work.
