We recently had a 25’ Graduate, Yanylin Outland, get accepted into the Navy Preparatory Program (NPP) to continue his studies at Tuskegee University in the Fall. He has completed the New Student Indoctrination training at Naval Station Great Lakes in IL. NSI is the physically demanding 2.5-week indoctrination course designed to provide standardized basic military instruction to Midshipmen Candidates. This course will facilitate the successful integration of new students into Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) and college life. Midshipman Outland is the FIRST Pearl High School student to be accepted into this awesome program.
