After 20 years of dedicated service with the Pearland Police Department, Telecommunications Operator Dawn Moore is retiring! Throughout her career, she’s held several key roles, including Records Clerk, TCO Coordinator, Communications Supervisor, Executive Assistant to the Chief, Communications Manager, and finally, Telecommunications Operator.

Dawn, your STYLE!!, kindness, professionalism, and the warmth of your conversations will be missed by all of us. We’re so happy for you as you embark on this new chapter, and we wish you all the best in your well-deserved retirement!

I’ve lost count of how many Pearland PD new hire tests I’ve been part of since starting my career in 1989, but it’s always great to see the next generation step up and apply to serve our community. Thank you to the Pearland Officers, who helped with testing yesterday, your hard work and professionalism reflect positively on our department. Best of luck to the 72 applicants moving on to the background phase of the process.
