Thank You for an Incredible Fireman's Picnic!

On behalf of the Pickerel Fire Department, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to support our Annual Fireman's Picnic.

Seeing families laughing together, kids enjoying the games and Slip 'N Slide, friends gathering over good food and music, and so many smiling faces celebrating with us is exactly what this event is all about💝
Congratulations to all of our raffle and prize winners yesterday, we hope you enjoy your prizes!! 🎁

To everyone who attended, purchased raffle tickets, donated prizes, volunteered their time, or helped make the day a success, THANK YOU! Your generosity and support mean more than words can express.

As a 100% volunteer fire department, events like this help us purchase lifesaving equipment, maintain our station, and continue providing the highest level of service to the community we are proud to protect. None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our community.

Today's the day we've been waiting for! The Pickerel Fireman's Picnic is finally here, and we can't wait to welcome everyone for a day filled with laughter, great food, friendly faces, and memories made with family and friends.

Before you head out, don't forget a few picnic-day essentials:
🧊 **Bring a cooler**... you just might be taking home some delicious winnings from our Meat Raffles!
👙 **Pack a swimsuit and towel** for the kids (or the kids at heart!) because the Slip 'N Slide is ready for some splashing fun!

The Pickerel Fireman's Picnic is almost here, and we've got plenty of fun planned for the whole family!

Parents, don't forget to pack the swimsuits and towels because our Slip 'N Slide will be ready for a day of splashing, sliding, and cooling off! ☀️🌊

We'll also have kids' games, activities, and plenty of family fun throughout the day. Whether you're racing down the Slip 'N Slide, trying your luck at the games, or enjoying all the great food and festivities, there's something for everyone to enjoy.

The wait is almost over! We can't wait to welcome everyone to the Pickerel Fireman's Picnic tomorrow for a day of great food, cold drinks, good music, family fun, and plenty of opportunities to win some fantastic prizes.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our local businesses and community members, we have over 50 raffle baskets and 20+ gift certificates to give away!! Not to mention Meat Raffles, 50/50, and Corn Hole Tournament!!! There's truly something for everyone, so don't miss your chance to take home a prize!

Whether you're coming for the food, the music, the games, the raffles, or simply to spend the day with friends and neighbors, we'd love to see you there. In preparation of our Annual Fireman’s Picnic, the Fire Department is still accepting donations for raffle prizes at this time. Whether it's a gift basket, gift certificate, merchandise, services, handmade items, or other raffle prizes, every donation helps make our event a success!

As a 100% volunteer fire department, fundraising plays a vital role in helping us purchase equipment, maintain our apparatus and facilities, and continue providing the best possible service to our community. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.

Our Annual Fireman's Picnic is just around the corner, and we hope you'll join us on **Saturday, August 1st** for a day of fun, food, and community!

The Pickerel Fire Department would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Flames Auxiliary for their unwavering dedication and continued support of our department.

This past weekend marked the conclusion of the Flames Auxiliary Fundraiser, which featured an incredible lineup of prizes, including a half hog meat raffle, a 50" television, beautiful photography donated by a local artist and photographer, Rodger Rabiego, a raffle basket donated by Pine Grove Pub, and a handcrafted bird feeder tree generously donated by one of the Flames Auxiliary members themselves.

Thanks to the hard work of these amazing women, and the generosity of our community, the fundraiser raised over **$4,000**!

Every dollar raised will go directly toward purchasing equipment and protective gear to help keep our volunteer firefighters safe, as well as supporting maintenance and the expansion of our fire station. These investments allow us to better serve and protect the community we are proud to call home.

The commitment, countless volunteer hours, and behind-the-scenes efforts of the Flames Auxiliary do not go unnoticed. Their support makes a tremendous difference, and we truly could not do what we do without them.

Congratulations to all of the raffle winners, and thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, donated prizes, and supported this fundraiser. Your generosity helps ensure that the Pickerel Fire Department is equipped and ready when our community needs us most.
