PHS is proud to recognize Jana Wheaton as our Teacher of the Month! 🍎💙

This year, Mrs. Wheaton has stepped into a new role and jumped right in with enthusiasm, working hard each day to create a positive learning environment for her students. As our cheer coach, Mrs. Wheaton gives countless hours to support our students, build school spirit, and make PHS a special place to be. She is always willing to step up, pitch in, and do what is needed for our school and our students. We are so thankful for all that Mrs. Wheaton brings to PHS and are proud to recognize her as our Teacher of the Month for August.

Who says literary analysis can’t be hands-on?!

After reading Macbeth, focusing on Act 2, Mrs. Davies' AP Lit students used LEGOs to abstractly represent the scene’s themes through symbolism, connecting their creations to the plot, characterization, and deeper meaning of the text.

Shakespeare meets LEGOs, and we’re here for it! 👏📖
