🚨🔥BURN BAN NOTICE🔥🚨

Effective IMMEDIATELY, all of Delta County including Pecan Gap is under a burn ban.

The burn ban will be strictly enforced the next 7 days and may be extended if conditions do not improve.

During this time, please refrain from any outdoor burning, including burn piles, brush fires, and other activities that could potentially start a wildfire.

With the current dry conditions, even a small fire can quickly become dangerous and spread. We ask everyone to please take this burn ban seriously and help us keep our community and surrounding areas safe.

🔥 If you see a fire that is spreading or becomes uncontrolled, call 911 immediately.

The PGVFD would like to give a huge thank you to everyone who came out and supported our very first Fish Fry Fundraiser! Whether you donated, brought a dessert, helped us prepare, or simply showed up hungry and ready to enjoy the evening—we appreciate you more than you know!! 🫶🏼

For this being our first year, we had one heck of a turnout. The fish was great, the desserts were delicious, and the fellowship with our community was even better! We loved seeing so many familiar faces—and meeting new ones too!

Once the fish fry wrapped up, we were treated to an acoustic set by Will Grider, who did an amazing job! His music had everyone dancing, singing along, and enjoying some good old-fashioned country music! 🎶

We are so grateful to be part of such an amazing and supportive community. With a turnout and atmosphere like this, we’re hoping to make the fish fry an ANNUAL event! 🤩

Thank you again for making our first year such a success! ❤️🐟🔥

FISH FRY FUNDRAISER🐟🍤

Y’all come join us Saturday, May 16th at 5:00 PM at the Pecan Gap Fire Department/Community Center!!

We’ll have fried fish, cold drinks, and homemade desserts — donation only!

‼️THEN stick around and enjoy live music by Will Grider starting at 7 PM under the pavilion outside the community center. Bring a chair, bring a friend, and enjoy a great evening together!

Our little corner of the world is so full of people who show up for one another, and we’re grateful for every bit of support. All proceeds help us continue serving our community. We can’t wait to see everyone there💛🚒
