Pecos High School’s One Act Play Company presented The Women of Lockerbie by Deborah Brevoort for their final performance in the PHS auditorium. 🎭🦅

A meaningful night for our program as students took the stage in a space that has supported years of performances and growth, with the new fine arts facility on the horizon.

Our Animal Science students spent their Independent Learning Day at Pecos Animal Clinic with Dr. Box, continuing the hands-on learning they’ve been building through regular visits. Getting a real look behind the scenes, they’re gaining experience that sticks.

Pecos High School art students recently competed at the VASE (Visual Arts Scholastic Event) and represented Eagle Nation well among a large field of talented artists. 👩‍🎨🦅

Alina Cuevas, Brandy Medina, and Seven Ramirez each earned a Rating of IV, the highest rating a student can receive at the competition. Mia Castellanos received a Rating of III, recognizing strong artistic skill and presentation.
In addition, Angela Garza and Arianni Richardson also earned Rating of IV and were selected among the top 10 percent of all IV-rated entries in their division, an outstanding accomplishment at the event. 🎨

This year’s competition included more than 700 student entrants, with many students submitting two pieces of artwork, making for a highly competitive showcase of talent from across the region.
Congratulations to these talented Pecos Eagles for representing our district with creativity, dedication, and excellence. 💜🤍💛

From intense testing sessions to high-energy opening ceremonies, our members proved that DECA is more than just competition. It's about going the extra and stepping into your future with the leadership skills you've gained through the times you've spent preparing for your event, networking with other emerging leaders, or simply being there for all the offered opportunities. Thank you, DECA, for allowing the members of our chapter experience new heights.
