Chalet Nivale is a 106 acre preserve owned by The Arc Of Appalachia, and is located a few miles east of Peebles Ohio on Bacon Flat Road. There are three trails that meander through the dolomite cliffs, rare wildflowers and pristine creeks. Post your pictures and tell about your experiences on this page. ame Chalet Nivale comes from the log cabin (Chalet) on the preserve and from the Trillium Nivale or Snow Trillium flowers that bloom (sometimes in the snow) in March.
