Peetz Fire/Rescue Volunteer Fire Department serving the Peetz Fire Protection District The applicant must read the current Bylaws and fully understand said contents.

Any person desiring application as a member of this association shall be of sound mind and bodily health, 18 years of age or older, hold a valid driver's license, and be a resident accessible to the fire station. The applicant shall appear in person at any regular meeting stating his/her intentions in joining the department. The interested party shall submit an application which shall be reviewed

by the Officer Committee. Upon committee approval, the applicant shall be accepted for membership as a probationary firefighter.

Congratulations Chief Howell!

PROMOTIONAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Following the recommendation of the city manager and the acceptance by city council this evening, the Sterling Fire Department is proud to announce the promotion and appointment of Captain Cody Howell as the next Fire Chief of the Sterling Fire Department. Captain Howell is a 25 year veteran of the Sterling Fire Department and a United States Marine Corp Veteran. He has held various ranks within the department over his career including Engineer and Captain. Captain Howell brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership experience with him. Please help us congratulate and welcome Sterling Fire Chief Cody Howell.
