Lettuce Tell You About All The Ways We Grow! 🥬

Here at Quabbin Hill Farms, we ultize all the different ways to grow. We have a custom growing room for our microgreens. We have multiple different hoop houses/ greenhouses. We plant in fields and even use multiple raised beds around both properties!

Why? Certain plants thrive in different environments, and the different options give us better control and make turning over easier, like greens in our beds.

Happy Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Today, we remember all of those who served and lost their lifes, along with honoring their family. It's always weird selling your business on days like today, but having sales is a weird way to also hornor and celebrate these holidays.

We're Screaming Happy Birthday To Our Little Farmer, Marigold!

We had lots of fun celebrating her this past weekend with friends and family. Today, we are letting this little farmer crawl around the house, wave hello to the farm animals, and cuddle our four-legged farmers.

Come wish her a happy belated this Saturday at the .farmers.market. She'll be making a few appearances between lunch and naps!

Have you tried our microgreens yet? This itty-bitty greens add loads of vitamins and nutrients to any meal. But not just that, they are very flavorful too!

We have live microgreens in the stand today and will have cut options this weekend at the .farmers.market. Make sure to stop by the common from 8am-1:30pm to get yours or stop by our self-serve farmstand anyday to shop local. 💚

If you're like us, when warm weather like this hits our ovens, stay off, and our grills turn on! We're doing burgers tonight featuring our peashoots (check out yesterday's post). But we already pulled out some pork chops for tomorrow! 🐖

Happy Monday 🌱

It's grilling weather, and though you might not think of it, peashoots are the perfect green for your BBQs! 🍔🥩🌭

Stack kn your burgers, top your grilled chops or steak, or add to your side salads for a sweet crunch. We've got some in our stand now along with lots of delicious pork cuts that your grill of choice is calling for. 🌞

Our farmstand is open daily from dusk to dawn. 🌄

It’s a beautiful day for a market! The sun is out, the birds are chirping, and the vendor booths are overflowing with amazing local goodness! Come down and say hi and stock up on eggs, asparagus, lettuce, and more. But don’t wait too long, we’re only here until noon today!.

Marigold Is Super Excited For This Weekend! 🎊

Why? Well, tomorrow is .farmers.market! But. Quabbin Hill Farms will be leaving early because we are also celebrating this little farmer turning one (her birthday is the 21st, but we're celebrating with friends and family tomorrow). 🎂

So make sure to stop by the common before noon tomorrow, and if you plan to shop our stand it will be open, but beyond the stand is off limit to friends and family only. 🎉

Aspargus season may be short, but that's what makes it special! It's also what makes it the most delicious, nutritious, and environmentally friendly. When you eat local, the items are not traveling far, making them as fresh as can be. 🥰
