Whewwww… Last Wednesday was a day to remember with our Inaugural Shelby County Women's Business Council Summit with 150 attendees!!! This event would not have been possible without our leadership of our 2026 WBC Board and our sponsors!!

We started the morning off with a professional panel of amazing businesswomen right here in Shelby County: Leah Lightner-Compact,Dr.Stephanie Perez- EmpoweredWellness , Shannon McBrayer- FirstBank , Becky White- Sain Associates, & Traci Fox-T Fox Salonspa Aveda… These ladies empowered each woman in the room with their wealth of knowledge and experience in their sectors of the business community!

We couldn’t stop at the amazing panel we had to invite the great Lauren Sisler to share her phenomenal story and it was nothing short of incredible and very moving!!

I believe we can say our first WBC Summit will not be our last and we want to thank each and every woman that walked through those doors, we couldn’t have made it happen with each of you!!!
