We appreciated attending the Grand Re-opening of Farmers Home Furniture this morning. This store has consistently demonstrated generosity by providing the Christian Love Pantry with assistance for our giveaways, organizing food drives and donating to our fundraisers. We are truly grateful for their support and partnership. Contratulations to Tonya and her staff!

We have LIHEAP Cooling Appointments available for eligible low-income households.

Note: When calling the hotline, please make sure to select the option for Utility Assistance. Please do NOT select Weatherization. These are separate programs, and a Weatherization appointment cannot be used to process your utility assistance request.

📍Appointments available in Blount, Cherokee, DeKalb, Jackson, Marshall, and St. Clair counties.

📝What to Bring to Your Appointment 📝
✅️Social Security Cards: Original cards for everyone in the household.
✅️Photo ID: Current Alabama Picture ID for the head of household and spouse.
✅️Proof of Income: Gross income for the previous month for everyone in the home (Check stubs, Social Security, pensions, etc. Please note: we cannot accept bank statements).
✅️Housing Info: Your lease or voucher if you live in Public Housing or Section 8.
✅️Your Heating Bill: A copy of your most recent bill for your primary cooling source

We had the best door prizes at our Tea Party!
