⚾️ A special THANK YOU to the Central College Dutch Baseball Team! ⚾️

We’re sending a big shoutout to the Central College Dutch Baseball Team for helping with traffic control during our Member Appreciation Day!

After an early morning practice, (hence the sleepy photo) these guys still showed up ready to lend a hand, helping direct traffic and keep everything moving safely and smoothly as we welcomed our members through the event.

We know giving up part of a Saturday especially after an early start is no small thing, and we truly appreciate their willingness to serve our co-op and community. 💙

Thank you, Dutch Baseball, for being such a great group to work with and for helping make Member Appreciation Day a success! ⚾️👏

🎶 We had a good time… 🎶

And we hope you did too! 💚⚡️

Member Appreciation Day 2026 is officially a wrap! After a week of watching the rain and crossing our fingers, we couldn’t have asked for a better day to welcome our members through the co-op.

To every member who came through today — THANK YOU! This day is all about you. We love getting the chance to see your faces, serve you a meal, and show our appreciation for the people who make Pella Cooperative Electric what it is.

And a day like this takes a whole community to pull off! A HUGE thank you to:

🍔 Marion County Cattlemen for firing up the grills and keeping the burgers and hot dogs coming!

🥩 Wanders Farms Locker for supplying the hamburgers and hot dogs.

🍪 Vander Ploeg Bakery for the buns and delicious cookies.

⛪ Pella Covenant Reformed Church for graciously allowing us to use your parking lot and helping make our new traffic route possible.

⚾ Central College Dutch Baseball Team for jumping in and helping our crew with traffic duty!

And, of course, thank you to our employees and directors who put in a lot of work behind the scenes to make today happen.

1,300 meals, a whole lot of teamwork, and one GOOD TIME. 🤠💚

Thank you for another great Member Appreciation Day. We’re already looking forward to next year!

Ever wonder what it looks like to bag 1,300 meals in 60 seconds? 😂

Okay…maybe it took us slightly longer than that. 😉

Watch our crew get 1,300 meals packed and ready for today! ⚡️🍔

And after a VERY rainy week, it looks like the rain might be getting the memo and moving out just in time! 🤞🌧️👋

We’re ready for you! See you TODAY from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.!

1,300 meals. One awesome crew. Let’s do this! 💚⚡️

’Twas the night before Member Appreciation Day,
and all through the co-op,
the crew was busy preparing,
with hardly a stop! ⚡️
The signs have been made,
the supplies are all stacked,
the shop is getting ready,
and the goodie bags are packed!
The burgers and hot dogs
will soon hit the grill,
and tomorrow our parking lot
with members will fill! 🍔🌭
We’ve planned, prepped and prepared,
and now there’s just one thing left to say…

We can’t wait to see you TOMORROW for Member Appreciation Day! 💚⚡️

A little rain won’t stop us! ☔ Our team is prepared for wet weather, and we’re looking forward to seeing our members drive through.

⚡ However, for the safety of our members, employees and directors, the event will be canceled if lightning is occurring before or during the event.

We’ll continue to monitor the weather closely and will post an update here on our page if anything changes.

For now, we’ll see you Saturday — rain or shine! 💚

Training for the moments we hope never happen. ⚡️

Our linemen completed pole top rescue training today practicing the skills needed to safely and quickly rescue a fellow linemen in an emergency.

When you work around electricity and at heights, there’s no room for shortcuts. Regular hands-on training helps keep these skills sharp and our crews ready when every second counts.

Safety isn’t just part of the job. It’s the foundation of everything we do. ⚡️💪🏼
