🎓 Investing in Our Future: 2026 Scholarship Recipients Announced!
As part of our ongoing commitment to the cooperative principle of "Concern for Community," Pella Cooperative Electric is proud to support the next generation of leaders through education. Each year, we award $1,000 scholarships to graduating seniors across our service area—an investment that totals up to $11,000 annually.
“We believe in investing in future leaders in our communities, which is why we award up to $11,000 in scholarships every year to graduating seniors,” said Doug Stewart, CEO of Pella Cooperative Electric. “We want to thank all the seniors who applied and congratulate the Class of 2026.”
📚 Meet the 2026 Scholarship Recipients:
Kaden Kloster - Attending Iowa Lakes Community College to study agronomy.
Mia Starrett – Attending Simpson College to study accounting and business administration
Sawyer Veldhuizen – Attending Iowa State University to study cybersecurity and engineering
Palmer Hemming - Attending Iowa State University to study psychology and political science
Will Conover - Attending Iowa State University to study data science
Logan Ruff - Attending DMACC to study agriculture business
Garrett Wielard - Attending Morningside University to study sports communication
These scholarships are available to students in the following districts: Grinnell, Knoxville, Lynnville-Sully, Newton, North Mahaska, PCM, Pella Christian, Pella High, Pleasantville, Twin Cedars, and homeschool students within these areas.
