🍂🎃 Thank You for a Fantastic Fall Festival! 🎃🍂

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTA and all of our wonderful volunteers for making our Fall Festival such a special event! ❤️ Your time, hard work, and dedication helped create a fun-filled experience for our families.

It was wonderful to see families laughing, playing games, making memories, and enjoying time together. Events like these remind us how special our school community is and how much stronger we are when we come together! 🧡

Thank you for helping make our school a place where families feel connected, friendships grow, and memories are made. We are so grateful for each of you!

This week, we welcomed Mac Arnold and the Blues in Schools program.

Dr. Mac Arnold and the I Can Do Anything Foundation have partnered with Greenville County Schools to deliver a 3 day “Blues In The Schools” residency at select elementary schools. Ellen Woodside was fortunate to be chosen!

Dr. Macand his band worked with 5th graders to learn about the history of the blues and the basics of the blues instruments. Some of the students learned 3 songs which they played at a concert, for the 5th grade class. Dr. Mac Arnold and his band also left behind some instruments for our students to enjoy at school. Third grade students learned about place value through the integration of visual art. They created a key to represent the hundreds, tens, and ones place with a symbol. Then, the students created a piece of artwork to represent a number. ArtsNOW
