Pemberton Township Department of Public Works Serving the residents of Pemberton Township Contractors and businesses will be refused.

Residents can bring leaves, brush, waste oil, scrap metal, TVs, electronics, computers and car batteries at no charge. Items accepted with a fee are car and truck tires (on and off the rim), 1 gallon paint cans, 5 gallon paint cans, antifreeze, propane tanks and ballasts with and without light fixtures. Residents are required to show proof of Pemberton Township residency to be able to use the recy

cling/drop off facility. The township only accepts residential drop offs, and we will not admit any contractors or businesses into the residential recycling/drop off yard. Residents must follow all social distancing requirements, as well as, wear a mask or face covering at all times that they are in the recycling/drop off yard. To provide for safety and to minimize exposure to the general public, township employees are prohibited from assisting residents unload their recycles at this time; residents will be required to unload all recycling items by themselves. Our recycling/drop off yard hours are:
Tues-Wed-Fri-Sat from 9:00am to 2:00pm
Thurs from 2:00pm to 7:00pm (Thursday yard hours change in March and October of each year)

Proof of residency is required.

Public Works will begin Milling & Paving the entire length of Delmar Avenue starting on Monday, August 31st from 6:30am to 5:00pm.
Emergency vehicles, recycling trucks, trash trucks, school buses, and mail carriers will have access during Milling operations.
Emergency vehicles, recycling trucks, trash trucks, school buses, and mail carriers will not access during Paving operations.
Detours and signs will be in place.
Please seek alternate routes and expect delays.

Public Works will be paving on Birmingham Road between South Pemberton Road and the Southampton Township Border on Wednesday, August 26th from 6:00am to 5:00pm.
Emergency vehicles, recycling trucks, trash trucks, school buses, and mail carriers will not access during paving operations.

UPDATE on Johnson Court Area Water: Water Pressure is currently being restored in the Johnson Court Area. If you notice any discoloration, please let your COLD water run to clear it up.

Residents in the Johnson Court area may be currently experiencing a disruption in Water Service due to the construction on Arney's Mount Road. The Water Department is on the scene and hope to have full service back shortly.

Public Works will be doing a Tree Work on Springfield Road between Four Mile Road and Pemberton Browns Mills Road on Tuesday, August 11th, from 7:00am to 2:00pm. Emergency vehicles and Pinelands Commission Employees will have access. Recycling trucks, trash trucks, school buses, and mail carriers will have access during operations. UPDATE: South Lakeshore Drive Water Repair

The repair on South Lakeshore Drive is complete. You may experience a slight discoloration in your water. Running the COLD water in your home for a brief amount of time should clear up your water.

The Pemberton Township Water Department is making an emergency repair on South Lakeshore Drive. Residents in the vicinity of Glenn Street may notice an interruption in service.

Our Water Crew is flushing the Fire Hydrants in the Lake Valley area today. You may experience low water pressure and there may be a slight discoloration in your water . Running the COLD water in your home for a brief amount of time should clear up your water.

The Water Department is moving some water in the Lake Valley Area. You may notice some slight discoloration, but if you run the cold water it will clear up.
