Business Spotlight: Pine View Terrace, LLC

Year Established: 1962

Pine View Terrace has been a proud part of the Pemberton Township community for over 60 years. Established in 1962 by Verdon Skipper, the community has remained family owned and operated ever since. Today, it is led by his daughter Debbie Skipper and granddaughter Jill Skipper, continuing a legacy of dedication, care, and community pride.
What makes Pine View Terrace truly special is its rich history and unique connections. Verdon Skipper was the founder of the New Jersey Manufactured Housing Association, an organization that continues to play an important role in shaping housing at both the state and federal levels. Over the years, Pine View Terrace has welcomed residents from all walks of life — including a Pearl Harbor survivor from the USS Arizona and a trombone player from the Tommy Dorsey Band. The community has also become home to individuals and families relocating from across the country, including Oregon, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania, Washington, and beyond.
Nestled in the beautiful Pine Barrens, Pine View Terrace offers residents a peaceful, quiet setting while still being conveniently close to the Jersey Shore — truly the best of both worlds.

The Team at Pine View Terrace values the opportunity to connect with the many kind, down-to-earth people who make up the Pemberton Township community.
Pine View Terrace provides an affordable and low-maintenance living option through its manufactured housing community. After purchasing a home, residents pay a monthly fee that includes:
· Water & sewer
· Property taxes
· Mail delivery
· Trash collection
· Snow removal (streets)
· Off-street parking
· Access to a heated saltwater pool
Residents are responsible for gas, electric, and maintaining their own yard, making it an ideal option for those looking to downsize while still enjoying independence.
With approximately 200 homes, Pine View Terrace is truly a hidden gem. The ownership takes great pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents and looks forward to continuing to welcome new neighbors into both the community and Pemberton Township.

Business Spotlight: Little Lambs Preschool

Year Established: 1992

For over 34 years, Little Lambs Preschool has proudly served the community, continuing its mission of providing a warm, nurturing environment for children and families. Even through challenging times such as the COVID-19 pandemic, Little Lambs has remained dedicated to supporting local families and helping young learners grow.

Little Lambs Preschool welcomes students ages 2½ through 13 years old, offering preschool education along with before- and
after-care programs for school-age children. As a small, family-centered preschool, they focus on creating a caring atmosphere where every child receives personal attention and support.

One of the most rewarding parts of their journey has been seeing the next generation of families return—serving children of former students who once attended Little Lambs themselves. This full-circle moment reflects the strong community connection the preschool has built over the past three decades.

In addition to their school-year programs, Little Lambs also offers a popular Summer Camp program, providing fun, learning, and enrichment for children throughout the summer months.

Looking ahead, Little Lambs Preschool is currently in the process of becoming a Grow NJ Kids program, further strengthening their commitment to quality early childhood education and continuous improvement.
