NOTICE: The Village of Pemberville is asking that all residents remove their vehicles from village streets on Thursday 05/21/2026 between the hours of 4:00am and 10:00am.

There is a scheduled street sweeping that will be taking place on all village streets. Removing vehicles from the streets will enable the operator to safely and properly sweep the streets.

The Village of Pemberville and the Pemberville Freedom Twp. Fire Department are going to be flushing and checking fire hydrants today. You may have some rust that shows up in your water. Be sure to let it run a while.

This week is National Fallen Law Enforcement Officer Week . We remember all that have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

There will be a young man going door to door. He is a recent college graduate who is looking to do odd jobs in the village. Power washing driveways, decks, doing landscaping. He has checked in with the police department.

Glasses turned in yesterday. They were found on the sidewalk on Pine St. near Bond St.

There is a tree company that is removing some trees on College Ave in front of the old Pemberville Elementary School. The crew does have the proper safety cones set out as required.

The street is down to one lane in the small section where they are working. This is also causing a view obstruction for vehicles coming off of Pine St. onto College Ave. Please use extreme caution when turning off of Pine St. onto College Ave. as it is difficult to see traffic coming from the east on College Ave.

ATTENTION RESIDENTS:
A resident has received this letter which has a return address from "Pemberville City Council". I can only assume that others have received this as well.
It is, in fact a solicitation for money from the National Police Association and has absolutely NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PEMBERVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT or the Village of Pemberville.
Please know that the Village Council would not send out letters soliciting monies for the Police Dept. Please know that if you send money in answer to this solicitation that the Pemberville City Council or the Pemberville Police Department WILL NOT benefit from your donation.
