Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and Florida Forest Service crews are actively working to contain ongoing wildfires and prevent them from spreading on the southwest side of US27 and Krome.

At this time, there is no immediate threat to the City of Pembroke Pines. However, Pembroke Pines Fire Rescue is closely monitoring the situation and remains in communication with the Florida Forest Service and BSO to ensure a coordinated response if conditions change.

We encourage residents to stay informed through official sources as we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.

Smoke from the Quarry 2 Wildfire and the Well Fire may be visible in parts of our city.

While there is currently no imminent threat to the community, residents should use extra caution and limit outdoor exposure if sensitive to smoke.

At this time, the fire does not pose a threat to the City of Pembroke Pines. We are monitoring conditions closely and will provide updates should anything change.

Our department has received some calls regarding the brush fire in Miami Dade County.

Residents may notice the smell of smoke or see ash on vehicles due to the ongoing brush fire.

At this time, the fire does not pose a threat to the City of Pembroke Pines. We are monitoring conditions closely and will provide updates should anything change.

While the smoke and ash may be noticeable, there is currently no danger to our community.

Congratulations to Reuben Joseph for his promotion from Firefighter to Lieutenant. Today in front of his family and crew he was presented and pinned with his new badge during a small ceremony held at Station 33.

Lt. Joseph was also presented with the Life Saver Challenge Coin for his actions during a cardiac arrest call back in May.

We wish him the best of luck in his new position 🎉👏🏼
