If you are a First Responder you need to see this!  Emergency Responders Credit Union is the only credit union in North Carolina that is only for first responders and their families. If you are Police, fire, dispatch, EMS, Rescue then you can become a member.

This credit union was founded by firefighters and specializes in giving loans to first responders. They only require a $25 checking or savings account to apply for many of their loans. For a limit of time they will give you your $25 just to open your account. Please give them a call today I have included their website.

This week, the Pembroke Rescue Squad Community Paramedics, alongside our fantastic partners at Scotland Health Community Health Workers, are in Chicago, IL attending the 2026 Atrium Health Mobile Integrated Health & Community Paramedicine Conference. 🏙️🩺

This conference is an incredible opportunity for our teams to:

Robeson County Sheriff's Office & Pembroke Rescue Squad Community Cleanup! 🚓🚑🗑️

This morning, deputies with the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office teamed up with members of the Pembroke Rescue Squad to participate in the countywide litter cleanup!

We spent the morning clearing trash and debris along Candy Park Road in Pembroke. **Together, we picked up 52 bags of trash along with other miscellaneous items!** 💪🗑️

We are incredibly proud to be a part of this initiative to better our home, and we strongly encourage all members of our community to pitch in and help out where you can. 🤝💚

The officers and members of Pembroke Rescue Squad extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and department of Chief Elton “Ray” Jacobs (414). We stand with our brothers and sisters in the first responder community as we mourn the loss of a dedicated leader and public servant.

Pembroke Rescue will be sending an ambulance over to Columbus County to help provide 911 coverage during the funeral services to allow Columbus County first responders to attend the funeral services.

With heavy hearts, we share the funeral arrangements for our devoted member, Chief Elton “Ray” Jacobs (414).

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 19, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Peacock Funeral Home in Whiteville.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate his life will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at 3:00 PM at New Hope Baptist Church in the Buckhead community.

We ask that you continue to keep the Jacobs family, as well as our department family, in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Chief Jacobs’ dedication, leadership, and service will never be forgotten. 🚒🚑🖤🕊️

The Robeson County Sheriff’s Office is once again joining forces with Robeson County Clean & Green for a countywide trash cleanup effort.

Operation Spring Cleaning is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

We are calling on volunteers from across Robeson County to stand with law enforcement, fire, rescue, EMS personnel, church groups, nonprofit organizations, elected officials, and community members, to help make a visible difference.

Many people complain about the trash, but few are willing to step up and help clean it up. Four hours of your time is all we ask. Real change doesn’t happen online, it happens with Boots on the Ground.
