Saturday, August 8, 2026. The event, from 10:00 am till 1:00 pm, is at the Pembroke Boys & Girls Club.

Reminder- We are just a few days away from our Back-to-School event on Saturday, August 8, 2026. Families we look forward to seeing you on Saturday. The event, which is from 10:00 am till 1:00 pm, is at the Pembroke Boys & Girls Club.

Join us for a fun day of back-to-school resources, health information, and community support. FREE COMMUNITY EVENT.

The event will Include:
Free School supplies for students (child must be present to receive backpack and supplies)
Free Haircuts for kids
Health and family resources
Insurance rates and benefits
Medicaid and Medicare information

The event is hosted by Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC, Healthy Blue, Lumbee Tribe of NC, Carolina Complete Health, and UnitedHealthcare.

Swimming lessons for kids ages 4-14👇🏼

The Lumbee Tribe of N.C. is excited to offer a 3rd class of Swim Lessons for youth at our Lumbee Tribe Aquatic Center. Swim lessons will be held July 20 -23 2026, for ages 4 - 14 from 11 am till noon. The cost is $35. Limited to 20 per class.
You may sign up at the Lumbee Tribe Aquatic Center at the Cultural Center on Terry Sanford Drive in Maxton, NC.

The Town of Pembroke Parks & Recreation is excited to announce what we have all been waiting for… the Splash Pad is officially OPEN for the summer starting tomorrow!!! ☀️⛱️

Come out Saturday from 10 AM–7 PM and enjoy the Splash Pad! You are welcome to bring your lawn chairs ☺️
