Are you pumped for field day tomorrow?? Get your team colors ready for a good time!

What does your student need?
* wear sneakers and cool clothing!!
* An icy water bottle with their name on it
* Apply sun screen and bug spray at home before arriving at school.
* A change of clothing if they want dry clothing after the water games.

Due to tomorrow’s weather forecast (heat with a real feel of over 100) parts of tomorrow’s field day will be changed to give students more time inside. We are not going to be outside all afternoon like we are in past years, that way students have a break from the sun and heat.

We WILL be outside in the morning though so please make sure to send students in hydrated and prepared!

What does your child need:
*A water bottle labeled with your name.
*Apply sun screen and bug spray at home before arriving at school.
*Bring a hat for the sun if you wish.
*Bring a full change of clothes if you do not want to be wet after the water games.
* Wear sneakers!!
*A positive attitude to have a good time!!

Today, band students from Pembroke Academy came to visit the PHS third graders and demonstrate various instruments and talk about learning an instrument. These third grade students will have the opportunity to begin a band instrument next year in 4th grade! Students listened to one another share what they admire about characters in Cinderella stories. They mentioned various traits such as kind, hardworking, thankful. One boy tied in the important message by saying when Cinderella married the prince, she got what she deserved.

The Cinderella versions are on the floor to remind students of the books we read and discussed. They may use the books for evidence to support what they are saying
