The Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina continues its commitment to supporting veteran housing with the delivery of a new duplex at the Camp Henry veteran housing site. The duplex is the latest addition to the Tribe's ongoing efforts to provide safe, affordable, and supportive housing opportunities for veterans.

According to program representatives, the veteran housing program focuses on more than simply providing shelter. Veterans participating in the program receive support in areas such as financial education, budgeting, credit improvement, and other life skills designed to help them achieve their goals and transition toward greater self-sufficiency.
The program works to connect veterans with the resources needed to improve their overall well-being and quality of life.

Each unit includes two bedrooms and 1 bathroom.

Amenities are expected to include a covered picnic shelter, grilling area, and outdoor seating space where veterans can gather and build a supportive community environment.

The addition of the new duplex at Camp Henry reflects the Lumbee Tribe's ongoing dedication to honoring the service of veterans by providing housing solutions that promote stability, dignity, and opportunity.
