Join us on Thursday, June 11th for a reflective writing session with Gabrielle Esposito that guides you to explore and contextualize your personal memories. Delve into meaningful moments, uncover their significance, and bring your experiences to vivid life on the page. The workshop will be in person, with Gabrielle providing remote instruction.

Don't forget to join us at 10:30 on Saturday, June 6th in the Ludden's Ford Park parking lot, for a Foraging Walk around Tucker Preserve. Get out in the great outdoors and learn about the edible flora right outside your door! Our presenter, Diana Burnell, will be providing a selection of wild-crafted snacks and drinks to enjoy around lunchtime. This even sponsored in part by the Mass Cultural Council.

Looking to donate your used books or media? The Pembroke Public Library loves accepting donations! We use the donations for our book sale, to add or replace old copies in our collection, or sometimes as prizes, especially if they come in great condition. As much as we want to accept every donation we possibly can, sometimes we are given books that are in so “well loved” condition, we cannot use them. We accept gently used or fairly used items, but if there are too many rips, tears, or stains, we are unable to use them. If you would like to donate, please bring them inside at any point we are open! Have more questions? Once a month we have our sweetest program, Baking Club, with a different theme each month. This month’s theme was strawberries. We saw strawberry cake and strawberry bars. We learned fun facts about strawberries (like did you know it’s technically NOT a berry? 😱) We also discussed Pembroke Library’s own wild strawberry patch! Take a walk behind the library and look for these little white flowers. Pretty soon they turn petite little fruits that our bunnies love to munch on. Join us for baking club next month for…cherries! Saturday, June 13th at 2 p.m. 🍓🍰🍒
